Coming up through the Mix Nights DJ crew in Bristol, Laani loves to express her eclectic taste through meshing her passion for nu jazz, neo-soul, afro riddims, bruk & house. A regular on the London Nu-Jazz scene – she works with top record labels Brownswood and Jazz Refreshed.
Jazz & Tings is an eclectic show really showcasing great nu-jazz from different parts of the world including London, Nigeria, Denmark and Cuba. That covers the ‘Jazz’ part, then the ‘Tings’ bit is about taking listeners on a journey through different music styles from rare groove, house, afro riddims and techno to Dub, neo-soul, hip-hop and bruk. It’ll be the freshest tracks, party vibes with guests coming to chat about parties and cultural events around London with a guest mix and live performance woven through on occasion.
