New Ears w/ Fichon – MONTREUIL

Once a month, New Ears invites you to discover adventurous sounds and songs from the different realms of underground and experimental music. Hosted by Montreuil-based label director and musician Fichon, the show features a guest mix by French and international musicians at each episode, as well as a selection of new and old tracks and exclusives from up-and-coming producers.

Fichon is the co-founder (with Prōtokol and Oreijän) of Parisian experimental record label Planisphère. Centred on sonic innovation and artistic freedom, the label works as a catalyst for budding musicians through cassette and digital releases. Planisphère is also a bi-weekly radio show – taking an in-depth look at a subject surrounding leftfield music or exploring an artist’s universe of influence and creation – and organises events blending music and audio-visual creation courtesy of the capital’s young talents.
