Ricochet has been pushing the sound of broken tech since 2007, beginning as an outlet for label boss Lifecycle to explore less commercial edges of the broken-beat scene. Their 40 releases since have focused on unexplored overlaps with electronica and techno, fusing intricate dancefloor pieces which give up their full rewards to the inquisitive home listener. The Ricochet show for Threads* is a monthly live mix of dark, psychedelic electronica and throwbacks to the high-energy rave scene of the 90s.
